Dr. Aykan Pulular
Dr. Aykan Pulular is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over three decades of comprehensive medical experience, including 14 years practicing as a General Practitioner and more than 15 years specializing entirely in psychiatry. She graduated from Anadolu University School of Medicine before completing five and a half years of rigorous specialist training in psychiatry at Trakya University in Türkiye.
Her intensive specialist background included a dedicated year focusing on old-age psychiatry at the prestigious Institute of Psychiatry at the Maudsley in London. Dr. Pulular holds her MRCPsych certification from the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK and has been practicing medicine in London since 2016, providing care across diverse healthcare settings.
Dr. Pulular possesses extensive clinical experience across both adult and old-age psychiatry frameworks in Türkiye and the UK, incorporating evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy and schema therapy into her practice.
