Dr Dilek Güvenci
Dr Dilek Guvenc is a GDC-registered dentist with PhD-level specialist training in Periodontology and more than 15 years of combined academic and clinical experience. She completed her dental degree, specialist training and PhD at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry before becoming an Associate Professor in Periodontology.
Her clinical experience includes non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment, regenerative procedures, periodontal plastic surgery and implant dentistry. She also has extensive experience in multidisciplinary treatment planning and the management of periodontal and peri-implant tissues.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Guvenc has contributed to undergraduate clinical supervision, case-based teaching and academic mentoring. She has authored and contributed to scientific publications and has presented her research at national and international dental congresses.
