Biography:
Dr. Mehtap Cavusoglu is a highly experienced radiologist with 23 years of extensive
expertise in the field. She completed her radiology residency at the Ankara Numune
Hospital’s Radiology Department, where she later earned the title of Associate
Professor in Radiology. Following her tenure at Numune Hospital, Dr. Cavusoglu
served as an Associate Professor at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, where she was
actively involved in the training and mentorship of residents, and supervised numerous
theses between 2001 and 2020.
Dr. Cavusoglu possesses advanced proficiency in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
(MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasonography and Breast Imaging. Her
significant contributions to the field also include a two-year Honorary research
programme at the UCL Neuroradiology Department, where she worked from 2021 to
2023, further strengthening her specialization in neuroradiology. She is currently
working as a Specialty Doctor in Radiology at North Middlesex University Hospital,
Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
