Dr. Fatma Yilmaz is a Senior Cardiology Fellow with expertise in echocardiography and cardiac imaging. She holds a BSE Transthoracic Echocardiography Accreditation and has extensive experience in transthoracic (TTE), stress, and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiography.
Before moving to the UK, Dr. Yilmaz served as a Consultant Cardiologist at Gaziantep University Medical Faculty, where she led the echocardiography department, trained medical students and cardiology fellows, and managed complex cardiovascular cases. She also worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at Dr. Ersin Arslan State Hospital, where she gained significant expertise in acute and chronic cardiac conditions, interventional cardiology, and echocardiography.
Currently, she is part of the Echocardiography Department at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust in London, performing and interpreting advanced echocardiographic studies particularly stress echocardiography . Dr. Yilmaz Coskun has contributed to numerous research projects and publications in international medical journals.
Her areas of special interest include valvular heart diseases, pulmonary hypertension, and advanced echocardiographic imaging techniques.
